The questions.

Cash only or card only?

// Card only. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless work. We don't take cash. Saves us cash drops and saves you waiting.

Vegetarian options?

// Yes. The Mushroom burger is a 4oz roasted king oyster with gruyère and caramelized onion — not a "veggie patty" thing, an actual mushroom burger we'd order ourselves. Tallow fries are NOT vegetarian (cooked in beef tallow — that's the whole point). Cheese fries / animal fries / chili fries also not vegetarian.

Allergies β€” gluten, dairy, nuts?

// We can sub Iceberg lettuce wraps for the bun (gluten-free if you skip the fries β€” they share fryer with non-GF stuff). Cheese can be omitted. No nuts in the kitchen. Tell the cashier when you order.

Do you deliver?

// Pickup only from us. DoorDash and Uber Eats carry the menu but the smash sits steamed in a bag on the way to you. Pickup is night-and-day better. We're 5 min from the L.

Reservations?

// No. Walk in, order at the counter, grab a table. Lines are usually 10–15 min on weekends, faster weekdays. Order ahead via Toast and skip it entirely.

Hiring?

// Always. Smashers, line, runners. Email jobs@tallowsmash.co with a sentence about why. We pay above-minimum and tip out.

Second location?
